Your child/children will experience a fun, educational summer of adventure and discovery. Tuition Payment Plan
Triton College offers a payment plan for individuals who have a balance of $250 or more for the semester. The Nelnet payment plan breaks down your child’s tuition balance into affordable monthly payments.
To enroll into the Nelnet payment plan, please follow the steps below.
- Compose an email to webadvisor@5bg12w.com requesting a MyTriton Portal user name and password for your child. In the email, please provide your child’s first and last name, date of birth, last four digits of their social security number, and a preferred email address to contact.
- After receiving the email with your child's username and password, click HERE to enroll in the Nelnet payment plan.

Junior Artist – CMPC13
Are you a budding Picasso or just want to express yourself creatively? In Art Camp, you'll be able to do that using one or more of several media-drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, or a combination. Let your inner artist out and share your work with other young artists.

Robocamp – CMPC23
Students will build LEGO robots that can perform different programmable movements. Participants can select a robot design to build and also create designs from their own imaginations. During this creative experience, programming and problem-solving will be a part of the fun.

Minecraft Adventures – CMPC56
Minecraft is a fun computer program that encourages problem-solving, critical-thinking and creativity. In Minecraft, a player explores many biomes such as deserts, forests, jungles, grasslands, and swamps. Each of these areas offer different materials which the player uses to make food, shelter, tools, and many other items. The student's imagination is free to build and create a fun and challenging gaming experience in an educational setting. Students must have a Minecraft (aka Mojang) account prior to the first day of class.

Young Chefs Culinary Camp – CMPC39
Children will learn how to transform everyday meals into mouthwatering experiences. These young chefs will learn how to cook and bake while using Triton College's state-of-the art culinary kitchens. Introduce your child to the farm-to-table process, experience new recipes and discuss kitchen safety. Parents, get ready to add another chef to your kitchen for some delicious, home cooked meals. Please Note: Children will be exposed to a variety of foods including potential allergens such as nuts, eggs, soy, dairy and wheat in the kitchen.

Digital Photography for Kids – CMPC57
Digital Photography for Kids will teach children how to transform the world they see into art that connects with the emotions of the audience. Through the lens of a camera explore and capture artistic details while exploring Triton's campus. Students will learn about the features of a camera, compose shots, and use image editing software to enhance their art. A USB cord, an 8GB flash drive or larger, and a digital camera are required. A DSLR camera with a lens and a compact flash is recommended, but point-and-shoot digital cameras and cell phone cameras are welcomed.

Waterbotics – CMPC30
Young students will have fun learning math, science and technology skills, as they design and build aquatic LEGO robots and solving design challenges. Sensors, motors, drive configurations, and programming in Lego Mindstorm is covered.

Coding Electronics – CMPC61
Explore a different approach to programming through Coding Electronics. A small circuit board called The Circuit Playground can be programmed to perform a number of functions determined by sound, light, and motion. Young students can learn how to code their own Circuit Playground to perform fun responses to clapping, turning the lights on and off, and acting as a timer in a fun game.

Architectural Camp – CMP C67
This course introduces youth between the ages of 13 and 15 to the world of architecture and design through hands-on projects. Hand drawing and sketching, requirements for working in the Design and Architecture field, as well as teamwork skills are covered. Students will leave with a project of their own design.

Learn Java Coding – CMPC55
Go beyond the block-style computer programming and learn how professionals in the industry code. Introduces young students to the Java computer programming language, including variables, input/output statements, control structures, arithmetic, lists, functions, and classes, including basic concepts of algorithm development and object-oriented programming.

Explore a new language in the realm of computer science. Python is a high-level computer programming language that can create games, Android applications and web applications to name a few. Students will learn the foundation to creating a source code and statements through Python and begin to speak high-level Python computer programming.

That flashy paint job on a sports car may look cool, but there’s a lot more that goes into a finish than looks. So, what else does finishing do besides look good? And how do manufacturers choose colors and come up with those crazy names like Jeep’s “Punk’n Metallic” or Ford’s “Mischievous Purple” Mustang? Through hands-on experiments and projects, guest speakers, and a plant tour, campers will learn about the various types of industrial finishing including electrocoating, liquid coating, and powder coating, and how they make things we use every day not only look great, but last longer.

Rocket Camp – CMPC70
Ready, set, blast off! Do you have a junior astronaut who loves the outer space? Join us for a week of building and launching model rockets at the Cernan Earth and Space Center. Students will learn and explore Newton's Laws of Motion, rocket science, and safe model rocket launch procedures in this program. After Launch Day, each student will be able to bring home their rockets.

Laser Camp – CMP54
Come discover the science and software behind cosmic light shows at the Cernan Earth and Space Center. Students will explore light, color, and of course, lasers. The campers will learn to use Pangolin QuickShow software to create, edit and synchronize laser visuals to music. The last day of camp will feature a laser showcase in the Cernan Center Planetarium where student can premiere their hard work to friends and family!

College for Kids – CMPC65
It's never too early to think about college. College for Kids offers young students the opportunity to experience what it's like to attend real college classes - with a fun twist. Campers will be required to choose one major and one minor area of study, which they will focus on during the weeklong camp. Led by expert professionals in the field, campers will gain instruction and hands-on experience while working alongside peers who share a similar interest and passion for a specific academic subject. Campers will spend the week creating innovative projects that will be highlighted at the Campers Showcase held at the end of the week, which families are welcome to attend.
